Why is WHS important?  

WHS is an important matter because it can and will affect different areas of your life and the environment you set around other people. In the workplace, it the responsibility of everyone in the area to be aware and maintain a positive standard of WHS practice. It is important to create a safe and ergonomic learning environment, because it will make people feel comfortable while learning.

For this particular topic, the presenter should be aware of factors such as posture, eye sight and hearing, when developing and presenting a PowerPoint or similar application. 

        Strategies that can be used to minimise the effects of WHS issues are;

There are a few methods that the can used to minimise the effects of any WHS issues and they are, allowing time for breaks during the presentation, adjusting the brightness and clarity of the screen either on the computer monitor or projector and also adjusting the volume. It is very important to take these factors into account because you want to make sure that throughout the presentation the audience is not restless, engaged and to also able to clearly see and hear what is being presented throughout the room.
